Hello Choir Families!
Your sons and daughters are already receiving high compliments from everyone who hears them. I’m really pleased with the great progress we’ve made in such a short time. I feel so fortunate to work with the talented Matt Everett, who is such a great pianist and choral musician. And, as you can tell, we have renewed energy with an expanded board and an executive director who provide such great support to the artistic staff.
I have two new pieces that I would like memorized by next Thursday – “Fascinating Rhythm” and “There’s No Business Like Show Business.” They should already have “Cabaret”, “How Can I Keep From Singing”, “I Will Sing With the Spirit”, and “Ching-A-Ring Chaw” memorized. I want to make sure we are super (over prepared) for our first performances.
On the note of performances, we will NOT be singing at Highland Park on September 23rd. That date has been moved to November 11th.
In October, we have two performances: We are singing for a Ghoultide Gala on October 20th, and our Fall Concert (Broadway concert) is October 27th.
Our Google calendar will soon show these changes, along with call times and performance times.
Thanks again for your support and hard work,
